My name is Matthieu Alix, founder of doctorsport, and I'm passionate about helping athletes reach their goals while protecting their health.
There was clearly a need for a dedicated platform connecting athletes with qualified experts in sports medicine and training.
It all started on the pitch and in treatment rooms, where I saw too many athletes waste time – and sometimes their health – for lack of finding the right professional. A runner sent to a GP who didn't run, a gymnast rehabilitated with no regard for the demands of her discipline: every time, the same observation. The expertise existed, but it couldn't be found.
So I imagined a single place where every athlete could, in a few clicks, identify the practitioner who truly knows their practice. Not yet another directory, but a genuine meeting point between the people who do sport and the people who care for its demands.
Today, doctorsport brings together professionals in every region of France, all experts in a discipline. Our mission is only beginning: making quality sports support accessible to everyone, everywhere, free for athletes. Thank you for being part of this adventure.
